CWM Architects PLLC is a minority and woman-owned, architectural design and services firm that practices in the Chicago metropolitan area. Established in September 2022, CWM Architects PLLC is committed to providing architectural services for communities that do not typically have access to an architect, The quality of work grows from the unique nature of experiences and continuous growth of a learned craft. Additionally, CWM Architects PLLC has deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities of the urban environment.

Courtney Williams Mitchell is a highly motivated NCARB registered architect with 15 plus years of architectural service and owner representative project management experience for various project types including residential, retail, office, restaurant, mixed-use, educational, and healthcare. As owner of CWM Architects, she is responsible for managing all projects, managing client design expectations, design document production, engineer consultant coordination, providing QAQC review of design documents, and permit submittal through construction. Not only is she passionate for design, Courtney is committed to client and community collaborative design process which leads to move innovative and user-centered final design solutions.

Courtney holds her Architect’s license in the States of Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, Virginia, Texas, and Missouri. Courtney is also a Self-Certified Architect with the City of Chicago.
